Here are two important things to know and to share with your Club members about our District's initiative to support early childhood education and development projects.

 

First, we have arranged an excellent panel discussion this Saturday, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, on the topic.

Our panelists include educators, non-profit leaders, and a pediatrician. All of them have great experience and suggestions to share on how to help the youngest members of our communities. Please join the Zoom webinar, and encourage your Club members and anyone with an interest in education and childcare to join us. The flyer below gives details.

 

 

Second, we allocated $10,000 for our Early Childhood Education grant program, and opened it for applications September 1. The good news is that all of those funds have been awarded and 20 great projects are underway. More good news -- the District Board has approved spending up to $10,000 more to support this program. So it is not too late for your Club to apply for one of these $500 grants. Application is easy.

 

 

We recognize that every Club is facing challenges in fundraising and in keeping our members engaged during these challenging times. 

 

Please use these opportunities to motivate your Club members and to serve your communities.
