Prayer Cards
I have compiled a sample of some possible Rotary prayers.
I had the pleasure of visiting the Bristol Breakfast Rotary Club of England in 2000. There I met Past District #1100 Governor Philip M. Bowry. He presented me with a publication that he had written called “The New Rotary Grace Book”, a PMB Publication. The prayers come from this publication. Little did I know that Mr. Bowry would be honored at the Barcelona International Convention as a “World Champion” for his tireless and outstanding work in Rotary.
As we begin our Rotary functions, we should set an example of using a non-denominational prayer as Rotary International is a non religious organization and we would not want to offend any religion with words that would be inappropriate for some members. The sheets can be easily printed on card stock paper, cut to size and have available with your club supplies. Enjoy.
