Overview

EVERY ROTARIAN
AN EXAMPLE FOR YOUTH

Think about those words. We, as Rotarians, have the ability to shape the future by setting the example for the youth of today.  That is what the Rotary youth programs are all about.  Interact, EarlyAct, Rotaract, RYLA and Youth Exchange programs all involve the youth of District 6450 and exchange students from around the world.  By getting involved with these programs, we have the chance to help the young people of our communities become better people through service to others, and service is what Rotary is all about.  As we "Lead the Way" into the 21st century, we need to recognize that the youth of today will be the leaders of tomorrow.  Through our Rotary programs, we are in an excellent position to help prepare them for their future.  And, of course, we hope that future includes becoming a Rotarian.

In District 6450, we have combined our youth programs under one administrative group called New Generations.   Putting our youth program under one "umbrella" helps us to coordinate and promote our programs throughout the District, coordinate the volunteer efforts of Rotarians, ensure a strong knowledge base for effective programming and, through training and monitoring, provide for the safe operation of these programs for the young people involved.

District 6450 is committed to building a strong future through promotting in young people the beliefs and values that we, as Rotarians, share.
