She is married with two children.
Hobbies/interests: Volunteering, traveling, walking, dancing, music. Rotary Experience: Past Club President, Past District Assistant Governor, Attended 3 International Conventions, served on Chicago 2005 Host Committee for 100th Anniversary.
Goals in Norway: vocational days at accounting/tax offices, personal-travel on fjords and experience Norwegian fellowship and culture

Bergen is an Actor/Theater Artist and Office Manager, with 7 years of experience.
Bergen is 29 years old, and single.
During her trip to Norway she would like to be able to see as much performance as possible. Theatre is a great way to get to know a country’s people and culture. In watching and experiencing a foreign community’s performance, we learn more about its customs, society, and traditions. In addition to her native language she speaks Swedish.

Jessica is a Senior Loan Officer in a financial non-profit organization. She dispurses microloans to diverse small business owners.
Jessica is 28 years old and single.
As part of the Group Study Exchange team, she hopes to learn more about Norway as a prime mover in international development and poverty reduction. Outside of work, she spends a lot of her time enjoying physical activity, or doing exercise including running, yoga and biking.
In addition to her native language she speaks Spanish and Zulu.

Melissa Hulting is an Environment Scientist for the US Enironment Protection Agency, with 10 years of experience in her field.
She is 34 years old and single.
As part of her preparation for the upcoming evolution of policy in the U.S. and increased activity, she would like to see how actions are being taken in countries like Norway. She would also like to hear Norwegians’ impressions and opinions of the carbon tax and cap and trade program.
Her hobbies include running, hiking/outdoor activities, cooking,and improvisational comedy/theatre.

Kimberly Peng is a System Analyst with 3 years of experience in software design, development and implementation, and procect managment.
She is 25 years old and single.
She sees the GSE as another step in her education, and is excited to see how Norwegian companies are using IT to meet their business needs.
Kimberly has been playing the violin since she was three years old. She would love to learn more about the classical and folk music community in Norway.
